Dwi Pertiwi

Dwi found and ran an international trading company JC Organics in 2007. JC Organics worked with over 5,000 families in Java, NTT and NTB. This company exported konjac, organic coconut sugar, organic cacao products and spices. It was organic certified in 2008 with EU, USDA NOP and JAS standards. It exported ready-to-consume products to USA, Europe, Australia, South Africa, Korea, Japan, etc. She gave the company back to the communities in 2018 In 2016 Dwi established Yayasan Bringin with the vision to inspire people to be more aware of their environment, the nature and start producing their own foods while be a part of the nature’s close loop system. She also found Ethnofarming where local farming practices are combined with permaculture, syntropic farming and organic farming to create the best ethical local foods productions that support better environment, comfortable human settlement and sustainable local economy. Dwi also found other initiatives such as Omah Lor, Warung Musiman, Kampung Musmus Therapy Center, Stay & Play and Pawon Musiman. She also co-founded KUB Maspete and KUB Pahmeto in NTT.

Navitri Putri

Navitri likes to think of herself as a farmers’ supporter. Having more than 10 years in the public sector, working for international organizations and NGOs in Switzerland and Indonesia, Navitri works on diverse issues including environment, climate change, and livelihoods. Her concerns over top soil degradation and water, soil, and air pollution due to chemical use in agriculture practices motivated her to work closely with farmers in West Sumatra in the past 5 years to restore agricultural lands through regenerative agriculture. Fluent in Indonesian, English, and French, Navitri has extensive project management experience working with local communities, government, as well as private sectors. She divides her time between Indonesia and the Netherlands.

COMMUNITY & PRODUCTION MANAGER

Reychan Nuriawadi

After spending his adulthood in Germany conducting research on organic solar cells in various international research institution and working for a multinational company, Reychan found his calling as an organic rice farmer back in Indonesia. He is currently involved in a multilateral project in Magelang, Central Java, aimed at promoting organic rice farming practices. This involves close collaboration with the government and local community, with a focus on emphasizing good agricultural practices and establishing supply chain traceability. In his role as Kaleka’s Community and Production Manager, Reychan is responsible for assisting Kaleka’s smallholder partners in meeting certification standards and ensuring the sustainable production of organic agricultural products. Beyond regulatory compliance, he oversees community development and empowerment initiatives within the Kaleka project, demonstrating a commitment to the broader social and economic impact of sustainable agriculture.

MARKETING MANAGER

Han Chandra

Han Chandra is the founder of Kebun Kohan (Kohan Gardens), an organic vegetable farm in his hometown of Pangalengan, West Java. He also cooperates with local farmers there in developing farming centers that are more environmentally friendly by making their farming process as natural as possible and not relying on chemical products but natural fertilizers and other natural methods.
